明治大学短期部法律科卒業後、ニッカウヰスキー(株)入社。
日本写真学園専攻科、東京綜合写真専門学校研究科卒業、
札幌学院大学大学院 臨床心理学研究科卒業。
2001年、(株)リクルート第17回写真「ひとつぼ展」グランプリ受賞。
以後フリー。現在は北海道を拠点に作品づくりを行う。
1997年より国内、海外で展覧会を行う。2026年写真集「春の滝に捧ぐ」発売。
